Your students will receive all the practice they need to reinforce the reading strategies that are taught in 3rd grade. Every set that you see below includes 24 passages with text dependent comprehension questions. Every passage includes an optional set of answers to print on the back to allow for these to be self-correcting if desired. There are a total of 384 passages in this bundle! All passages are intentionally written to target specific 3rd grade reading strategies.

I loved how some of it is leveled and my high students were challenged at their level with open ended questions and my lower students were supported with multiple choice. WE LOVE TOOTHY! I purchased the 2nd grade Toothy Reading bundle last year. The kids loved it so much, I had to get it for my 3rd graders this year. We used it today as a rotation and it was so wonderful! It is a lot to prep. I prepped all of the cards in one day (printing, cutting, laminating, sorting, etc). It took awhile. But if you do all of that prep work on the front end, implementing it is the easy part! I love how every set targets a different skill, but the procedure of using the cards is the same. Will use Toothy forever and ever!

I used this resource in centers for kids to practice their skills. I love that the students are trying their best. I use these also as a game piece once a week where the kids can use their toothy mats. I stick the toothy mats in plastic sleeves and have them place them in their binders for safe keeping.
