Description

Let’s dig into the other half of the Science of Reading that no one ever talks about… Comprehension!

If you…

…struggle to find books that work for all the varying needs of students

…have students who are ready for more than decodables (but that’s all anyone is talking about!)

…worry that your students are losing their love for reading in the midst of the high demand for explicit phonics instruction…

Then this workshop is for you!

Learn how to help your high achieving readers continue to grow AND how to help your struggling readers comprehend.

We’ll also cover ~

• Ideas for building background knowledge
• Tips for improving vocabulary
• How comprehension fits into SOR (Yes, it’s just as important as phonics!)
