  1. Emily S. –

Our textbook had nothing on coins, but students are tested on coins. So this was the unit I needed to get them introduced and throughly counting coins in same and mixed groups. Love this resource for all the amazing gems it comes with, so fun for students. Great enrichment activities/games for students needing that too. We also used hands on play coins. Thank you!

I love that this has the books for the students to recognize the nickel and who is on the nickel. They also love the books because it gives them a change to color and draw, while also using their skip counting skills. The check your understanding is helpful so that I can e which students need additional help with money.
