Classroom teachers are already loving this resource!

“We absolutely LOVED Camp Read A Lot. I used the BINGO, math scoot, write around the room, and the ideas for campsites and s’mores. I have loved all of the Lucky Little Learners products I have bought, but this one was AMAZING. My students were engaged and excited for the whole school day. We read over 100 books/ chapters, read with finger flashlights, and wrote about our camp day. All of my students said that it was the best day in 2nd grade :)” – Alexandra R.

We used this resource at the end of the school year. The plethora of resources was great and along with my co-teacher we stretched this fun camping activity out to two days in our 2nd grade classrooms. The students were more than enthusiastic to see tents and camping supplies in the classrooms. The resources were meaningful to the students learning and every student was engaged during the work time, regardless of their ability level. It was easy to differentiate for each student. Wonderful resource!!

  2. Kim S

There are so many things to choose from in this bundle! We had a wonderful camp out day the last week of school, and I had plenty of on-task work for them to do! I will definitely be doing this again next year!

  3. Rebecca K.

So many great activities in this bundle! My students loved our classroom camping transformation at the end of the year and I loved having all these resources ready to print to keep them engaged and learning in those last few days of school. Can’t wait to use it again this school year.

  4. Karisa C.

At the end of the school year, I used this resource to do a camping themed day in class. My class is the “campers” and this went perfectly with that. There were plenty of options to choose from so I could pick out what worked best for my class.

  5. Wendy S.

Super fun addition to our camping themed end of year events. the Mr. Magee activities were our favorite and it was a new book to us. Thanks a million for creating this and sharing it.

  6. Melanie P.

This is by far one of the best purchases I have made yet!! The last 2 school years I have done a camping theme week using these materials and more and the kids have ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!!!! They can’t wait to see what each day brings. They love “their” tents too. It has made the last week of school so enjoyable and fun!! Thank you so much for putting this all together!

  7. Natalie D.

Best Camp Learn A Lot Resource I have used in my 2nd grade classroom. Enough planned to keep you and your students busy for a week, but enough “looseness” to not have to complete each activity to be able to use other resources. As I have come to expect from LLL resources, so well aligned with 2nd grade standards.

  8. Teaching Tiny Hoosiers

This is jam packed full of things to keep your students engaged during those last weeks of school. It is everything everyone says and MORE. Anything LLL does is fabulous. A+

I used this for one of my special end of the year days. I teach kiddos with severe behaviors. All things considering, they enjoyed this resource. A big trigger for my kids is reading- so it’s a battle in the first place. But- this helped to change it up and they loved the room makeover!

  20. Jennifer C.

While we didn’t get to make tents last year, I am hoping we get to this year! Aside from the non-tent-making, my students were engaged and happy up to the last day with these activities!
