How does the game work?

Students solve a problem on a digital task card. They choose the answer from three choices by tapping on the answer. If the answer is correct, a tooth gets placed automatically in Toothy’s mouth. If the answer is not correct, the game prompts them to go back to the problem to solve again. There are 24-26 problems within each skill-based game.

What kind of devices are compatible with Digital Toothy®?

Digital Toothy® works great with Smart boards, iPads™, laptops, desktops, and Chromebooks™. This file has two digital versions – PowerPoint™ and Google Slides™.

Can I check their answers?

We recommend using the recording sheets that are provided if you want to grade this activity.

Can more than one student play at the same time?

Yes! One license will provide your entire class to play these games at the same time if they are using separate devices. You can also project the game on your smart board and play as a whole class.

What do I do about some of my students who struggle with reading the directions?

We have provided an audio recording for many of the sets. This will work on both digital versions of these Toothy® Task Cards.

If you’d prefer to use the printable version of these task cards, we have them for a wide range of grade levels and concepts.

Such a fun resource for students to use. My kids love toothy and having it digital is a fun way they ask to play the games and do not even realize they are learning. They get so excited when they add a tooth. I have used it many weeks as a fun weekly activity. Also great for early finishers.

  17. Tiffany C.

My students love our “Toothy” days and they even ask for it at independent work time. I love that this is digital now and easy for my kinders to access on their iPads. Thanks!

  18. Melissa B.

I use these with my first graders as some students need extra review with skills previously taught. I like the variety of slides and topics, too. I also like that most students can do these by themselves.

  24. Naomi S.

I have one of the higher level toothy math bundles but it was too high for my current students. This bundle has the variety of activities at their level I was wanting. The students love watching the teeth added to the smile. It is very engaging and keeps the students engaged in their learning.

  25. Brenna S.

This year I am teaching online and this resource was really helpful in being able to provide my students with something engaging and FUN while sitting in front of a screen! They loved answering the questions and watching the mouths grow with teeth. The great thing is I can create an activity with it and then they can continue to go back to that activity as many times as they want to. This resource makes a great center activity or as a review activity.

  26. Crystal Potts

Great resource and easy to implement into the class schedule, we use during centers. My students love using the tablets to play these games, great review and practice of skills learned.

  27. Angela A G.

    Extremely satisfied
These are great for the differentiation required by my students. These are great for reviewing previously taught standards and to reinforce standards currently being taught. The students and their parents enjoy them, and the students ask to do more. Not having to create these are a great time saver.

  36. Cindy C.

As a new SPED 3rd-5th grade Learning Support classroom it has been a new twist for me after a virtual world as a new 1st-grade Inclusion teacher. We enjoyed using these last year and I knew I had to add to my collection. This year I am again in a new SPED position and grade, so I continue to look to find materials that were engaging and effective for my diverse learners. I continue to look for resources that would engage, that would inspire independent motivation and efficiently use our time. I needed materials that were engaging and effective for my diverse learners. These will help boost my students’ interest and support them in many ways. AWESOME products!!!! Thank you.
