  1. EDFB

These are Fantastic!! Today we did one of the Roll It activities today to review place value. My kiddos loved this activity. Every student was engaged and every student completed the task. I modeled how to do the Roll It activity. Then I sent my kiddos to work. They cut, glued, and wrote what was needed without any question. The Roll It activity was fantastic for my kiddos to practice building, word form, and expanded form for place value. My kiddos and I look forward to doing more of these fantastic interactive notebook activities!! I hope you make some for Reading.

I was using another resource for math notebooks and I was not very happy with it. This bundle has really done the trick. One of my students favorite times of day is math notebooks now! Thanks so much, easy to implement and can be done in whole group or small group.

  6. Barbie Windsor

My kids work on their fine motor goals while we do math. They are more engaged when working in their own notebook than when they are working on a worksheet.

  12. Chersti Thomack

What a wonderful resource! I will be slowly incorporating this into my math center time. Right now, we are doing this whole group so they learn how the flaps have to be cut, but it is so easy. The kids love that they will have a take-away at the end of the year.
Just a side note, I used the first grade version when I taught firsties and knew I had to continue it with my Sensational Seconders.

Wow! I love all that this resource has to offer. It covers the entire scope & sequence of second grade math skills/standards. My students loved all of the activities in the interactive notebook and they became part of our daily math rotations!

  18. Sharon T.

Since I purchased this in the last quarter of the school year, we didn’t do many of the activities. However, the ones that the kids did, they really enjoyed. They liked the hands-on approach and really had to think about how to answer the problems. We did some of the money pages, and it was nice that there was more than one way to solve (for example, show $1.23).

  19. The Bookworm Teacher

Seriously, love everything LLL produces. I watched the YouTube videos on how to run math centers easily with an interactive notebook component. I don’t think I will use all the parts and pieces, but I like the ability to make this an easy center rotation for reinforcement.

As a new SPED 3rd-5th grade Learning Support classroom it has been a new twist for me after a virtual world as a new 1st-grade Inclusion teacher. We enjoyed using these last year and I knew I had to add to my collection. This year I am again in a new SPED position and grade, so I continue to look to find materials that were engaging and effective for my diverse learners. I continue to look for resources that would engage, that would inspire independent motivation and efficiently use our time. I needed materials that were engaging and effective for my diverse learners. These will help boost my students’ interest and support them in many ways. Thank you.
