Description
Skip counting can be a tricky yet essential skill to learn in first, second, and third grade. Often times the curriculum has a few lessons on skip counting and then the students are expected to have mastered the concept. If your students need some extra practice with skip counting by twos, threes, fives, and tens, this resource is just for you!
These supplemental math boosters are designed to provide your students with extra skill practice through a variety of ways. Number posters, desk tents, worksheets, dot to dots, flip flaps, and assessment checklists are all available in this resource. These activities can be completed during morning work, intervention time, whole group math, independent practice, guided math, enrichment groups, or even homework.
The math activities covered in this resource include:
-Number Posters (blank & finished)
-Desk Tents (black & white and full color)
-Worksheets (3 sets for skip counting by 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, and 10’s)
-Dot to Dots
-Flip Flaps
-Assessment Checklist

This will be a great resource for me to use next school year. As a new teacher to 2nd grade I was looking for things to assist with this concept and this unit will definitely help next year 🙂

This will help my students reinforce their skills. They sometimes don’t transfer their skip counting to graphing skills. Thanks!
