Say goodbye to timed tests that stress students and teachers out! No more correcting, no more copies, no more stress.

Sticky Math is a fun and new way for your students to practice their math facts in a developmentally appropriate and self motivating way!

Students receive a sticky math sheet. The students are racing against themselves and don't have to share their scores with the rest of the class.

When the teacher says "go" the students solve the problems as quickly as they can. When the teachers says "stop" the students place their sticky note on the last problem that they completed. This process is repeated two more times. Each time this is done, the students try to beat their previous score.

I started using Sticky Math as a daily routine before remote learning. My students were use to the procedures and routine and I wanted them to continue to progress in their fluency. So I made up Sticky Math folders for them to take home with an expo marker. I made a video of myself so they could play it everyday and do their Sticky Math routine. I had great participation and it really helped them continue with their fluency and it felt like the classroom that they were use to. Thanks for the resources.

2. Lori S.

I wanted to try this out as an alternative to Rocket Math. Both are timed and actually very similar in function. I do like that they’re trying to beat their score each time and are able to record those for reference.

3. Elizabeth G.

My students were struggling with their fact fluency and I was desperate for something new to try with them to help them master their facts. This was a great resource and I loved how it includes how to implement it in the classroom.

5. Joyce LaMont

my class thought this was more like a game than an assignment and had so much fun with it during guided math stations. Thank you!

I use this resource as a quick skill check. My students also like to use these as fast finisher work. They enjoy using Sticky Math with our sand timers. They work in partners or individually.

This is such a great resource to have for my lower students. It helps to build their confidence and increase their fluency.

10. Katey M.

Can’t say enough good things about this resource! It is very effective at building math fluency. It is always a hit with my students because they love getting to write with the dry erase markers. They enjoy challenging themselves and seeing their growth after all three attempts!

11. Communication Blessings

My daughter actually enjoyed practicing her math facts with this activity and it made fact fluency practice at home so much easier for us that I bought the multiplication and division version, too! Thanks for a simple and engaging activity to make math facts a little more fun!

12. Danielle Lance

My students love doing hands-on activities to practice previous skills they have learned. This did great at accomplishing that.
