This resource has been updated with several new options!

⭐️ TWO levels for each sentence

⭐️ Word cards & recording pages

⭐️ No-prep option with cut & glue words

⭐️ Digital option on Google Slides (TM)

Print the word cards onto white or colored paper. Laminate for durability. Sort word cards into bags or containers. Word cards and labels have the same fall image for quick and easy sorting. Students need to rearrange the cards so that they create a complete sentence. Then the sentence gets written on the recording sheet.

This activity can be used in an independent, whole group, center, or partner setting. There are 30 sentences included in this product.

Skills that are practiced:

*Sentence structure

*Decoding and fluency

*Sight words

*Capital letter at the beginning of a sentence

*Ending punctuation

*Handwriting

Sentence Scrambles are an activity that my students love! Practice sentence building and sentence writing in a highly-engaging and effective way. Sentence scrambles allow students to develop writing skills while practicing sentence structure. Sentence scrambles are also great for reinforcing sight word recognition and spelling

I am required to tutor twice a week, I am so excited to use these with the kiddos! They love putting sentences together!

I love this activity! But I put it together tonight and noticed that a couple of the sentences are missing periods with the last words. It’s not anything I can’t fix with a sharpie, but thought I’d mention it for future TPTers. Thanks!

Perfect for my children who are still struggling with sentences. Will prepare this for returning back to school. Thankyou

I really like this product and will use it with my students, but I wish I would have noticed before I printed each page of sentences on different colored cardstock and laminated the pages that the sentence sometimes finishes on the next page. I realized this when I was cutting them apart to put each sentence in a baggie.

    Awesome! Thanks!

LOVE THESE! My students loved the fall sentences, can’t wait to prep these and use when we return from break! Really love that we can use this as a center-type activity and work on them for 12 weeks or get it done faster if necessary. Thanks so much 🙂
